I don't understand the Star Wars MMO, I mean at least develop the KOTOR 3 we've been waiting for or at least start developing Mass Effect 2. Anyone else here agree?Who thinks Bioware should ditch the Star ...

I agree. Matter fact I think they should ditch EA all together.
I'm pretty sure Mass Effect 2 is already in the early levels of production. I suppose they're large enough to be developing more than one game at a time. I'm not exactly sure how the Star Wars MMO fits in with the KotOR games, so I can't really comment on that.
You should probably be asking it the other way around, ''Who dosn't think'', because most people do not want BioWare working on this over KoTOR 3. So yes, alot of people actually, including me.
how about they make both? because i would LOVE a quality star wars mmo and would also enjoy a really good single player rpg altho not as much
It's one thing to spend 40 hours playing through an awesome story in a KOTOR game, and another to waste hours away grinding in an MMO.

Ditch the MMO targeted at socially inadequate star wars nerds, and bring back the RPG for the real gamers.

Hell yes. I want to properly experience the story, in a single player campaign. An MMO might work, but it wouldnt be remotley close to how good a proper single player KOTOR 3 would be.
Well, KotOR 3 maybe in development. BioWare didn't make Sith Lords. Who says someone else isn't developing the third installment right now? But yes, I do want Kotor 3 more than the MMO.

The last thing Bioware wants is to work on other people's IP. Now they just want their own IPs. Hence why there won't be new KOTOR and why Old Republic is created by whole new team of people who mostly worked on MMOs before.I never really considered KOTORs to be anything special, so it doesn't bother me they're making Old Republic now I'm more interested in it than I would be in KOTOR3, altough I can understand why the fans are angry.Except... looking at the numbers KOTOR fans are mostly lemmings, so I wonder if a large reason for all the Old Republic hate isn't that it's currently PC only

Mass Effect sticks to the same basic principals as KOTOR....if anything ME was the spiritual sucessor to KOTOR.ME2 is coming out in 09 ( I think?) no point in making KOTOR3 when they have their own IP which is a combination of some of the best science fiction movies/books anyway.
