A problem worse than RROD( in a way)

on thursday ,After two and a half years, my 360 pro died.Just as I was going to play fallout 3( which is awesome btw)It was the E74 error, which had something to do with the audio visual, i tried everything!But heres the bad thing, the e74 error, which is indicated by one red light, is not included on the 3 year warrenty.It would have cost me 60 quid!! I had to go to Blockbuster and get a new one straight away.I traded all my ps3 games , except warhawk, and i gots a 360 60gb pro, for ?9.99 :D DEAL.It has the new chip set and it quiet and cool. aposed to hot and noisey. But yeaah anyways, i think microsoft should include this in thier 3 year warrenty.have any of you had this problem beefore? A problem worse than RROD( in a way)

the 360 is, basically, just a ticking bomb. jump in.
Oh those artificial colourings and flavours. perhaps even worse than my problem

yeah i have had the E74 warning b4, i got it when my launch console was about 14 months old, i thought it wouldnt be under the 1 year warranty but they still covered it :) about a year later or whenever the first 360 consoles with the smaller CPU and the HDMI output came out i bought another one (arcade cuz i bought the 120GB separate) and sold the older one to my bro. on Wed it 3 red light on me :( perfect timing too, with Gears, Lef 4 dead, and the new update coming out among other titles :( i love my 360 more than my PS3 but this hecka sucks... Good thing we have 2 xbox360's in this house
I got this error, opened it up and fixed it.Any red light problem should just be included in the 3 year warranty if you ask me, I agree.
I was thinking of inducing the rrod on my 360, but1. Im not that kind of guy2. Microsoft has been nice to me3. theyd send it back and id still have the e74

What a waste of money....should have just argued with MS anyways to try and get a new 360. Also your second point was too funny...MS has been good to you? In what way? By selling you crap hardware that you had to pay extra to get fixed.
I got an E74 last week. I swear with all of these RRoD's right before Gears 2 that Microsoft program this into 360 just for the lulz.
I would go with RRoD simply due to sheer numbers.

If I were you I would have kept it on next to a radiator, anything to get it to et RROD for a free new one :PYou should have tried calling the helpline and saying you got RROD, might have worked :PToo bad mate. But selling all the ps3 games? I hope they wernt good ones....
