It all depends on your gaming tastes TBH. If someone wants MGS 4, LBP then he/she should definately get the PS3 but if someone wants Halo 3, Gears then he/she should deifinately get the 360.Do the PS3's features make it a better c ...
Only if you like those features. I prefer games and right now 360 is winning that department for me.
For me it does. I just like the interface, the capabilities and such. I think one of the biggest factors for me was the built in Wifi. I prefer the PS3 over my 360, but they are both great consoles. I love the fact of playing all the exclusives on each machine.

It depends on what your looking for. If gaming is your only concern, than 360 is still king for now. PS3 does give you a lot of bang for your buck however. Blu-ray, Wifi built-in, standard HDD for easy upgrade, Bluetooth, excellent streaming functionality, DTS-HD sound, etc make the PS# the best multimedia device
Wii, is best at giving you carpal tunnel :P
Actually, no - the xbox360's games and XBL make it a better console than the PS3...
I have both and prefer the PS3. It's a better deal overall, even though you can get a Pro 360 for cheaper, by the time you add in the wireless adapter, online fees, etc. it's actually more expensive. The 360 has more games but the reliability issue is always going to be an issue. I'm always worried that I'll get the RROD on my 360 everytime I turn it on and I try not to play more than one hour at a time. It's kind of unacceptable, really, that the failure rate of the 360 is so high. They each have their pros and cons. The PS3 is just a better built, more reliable system but the 360 has more and better games, although there are more and more multi-plats coming out and good games are coming out for the PS3 as well.
It makes it a better machine, but the games make the console.360 or PS3? it's entirely up to your tastes.

No, it makes it more expensive.
On the hardware side, yes. XBL is more advanced than PSN so the 360 wins the software side.
Why is this same question asked over and over again? I remember reading posts like these a year ago.
the built in flash 9 web browser with keyboard and mouse suppotort is also a great perk u can wach all ur reviews,PoRn,lol,or even gametrailers
Does the PS3's blu-ray dvd player,six-axis controler and its free online gameplay make it a better console than the Xbox 360?
Blu-ray is nice if you are a movie watcher (which I am). Six-axis controller is too small for me and the motion stuff is a waste (except I like AO2 reloading with it), but I can see how some would like the controller (always a personal pref). The thing I must disagree with you on though is the ''Free'' online gameplay. I have both a 360 and PS3, and I must say the cost for Xbox Live is well worth it. I NEVER have issues with online play with my 360, but with my PS3 I almost never have a smooth experience. Choppy, Can't connect, and my favorite....I finally connect and get excited that I am about to enjoy some online goodness, but no one can hear me talking or it cuts in and out. (usually out).My ratings as per your comments:1) Media type (blu-ray)-Tie. Tie because load time are not very good when compared to DVD9. Even to the point many PS3 games now load content the HD. But...Being able to watch blu-ray movies is greatness.2) Controller - Xbox 360 hands down. Just fits better in the hand. The left analog above the D-Pad is where It should be. Triggers have better response. PS3 is smaller and lighter and might be better for some. Motion is usless most if the time.3) Online- Xbox Live has no issues. Getting a good game going on the PS3 can be a pain. Both systems are very good, but a better feature set......Not so much. Maybe I will update my post after Resistance 2.
