Should I buy a current gen console?

Topic. I have a PS2, a gaming PC and some retro consoles. Do I need one of these new ones?Should I buy a current gen console?
no you dontShould I buy a current gen console?
maybe a Wii or PS3 but u basically have a 360 already
not realy since u have a pc. anyway u will soon get 360 games on pc. if microsoft saids no it will most likly come. look at mass effect, gta 4, gears of war 1. they said it won't come to pc but ended up coming to pc.
I would say yes, but only you know what games you want.
if you have a well built and high end pc then stay away. However if you want a lot of bang per buck then get a ps3
Unless you really want Halo 3 or GeoW 2 (or, heaven forbid, Banjo Kazooie), just buy a PS3 or Wii.

You don't need to unless there is something you really want to play. I suggest a PS3 though. I used it more than my 360.
That's pretty vague. What games are you interested in?
That's pretty vague. What games are you interested in?
Good point. My favourite games are definetely RTSs, followed by FPS, Adventure, Stealth, Platformers, Action, Fighters, Everything else, in that order.
yes you really do
Why not? I have not tried a gaming pc ever.....but if your asking....yes you should get a nexgen console.
Alrighty, then:RTS: Halo Wars (XBox 360) might be good. To be honest, you might as well just stick to your superior PC RTSs.FPS: Halo 3 (XBox 360) and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Nintendo Wii) are probably some of the only FPSs worth playing on consoles. Maybe Battlefield: Bad Company (PlayStation 3, XBox 360), but it's nothing to buy a system over. You'll find better FPSs on the PC, but if you like split-screen multiplayer, you'll have a blast with some FPSs on consoles.Adventure, Platformers- de Blob (Wii), Super Mario Galaxy (Wii), Super Paper Mario (Wii), Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PlayStation 3), Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts (XBox 360), Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (PlayStation 3), and Little Big Planet (PlayStation 3) are the only really good ones I can think of right now.Stealth- Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of the Patriots (PlayStation 3) and the upcoming Splinter Cell 5 (XBox 360). Splinter Cell: Double Agent is for a few platforms. I'm not sure which ones. Sorry.Action- Resident Evil 5 (XBox 360, PlayStation 3), Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii), Fable 2 (XBox 360), No More Heroes (Wii), superior version of Resident Evil 4 (Wii), Disaster: Day of Crisis (Wii), God of War III (PlayStation 3), and Ninja Gaiden II (XBox 360).Fighters- Soul Calibur IV (XBox 360, PlayStation 3), Super Smash Brothers Brawl (Wii), Virtua Fighter 5 (XBox 360, PlayStation 3), Dead or Alive 4 (XBox 360, PlayStation 3), Castlevania: ? (Wii). There's a few more, but I only named the best of the best. There's also a lot of miscallenous games that are good. I named all the games that weren't multiplatform for PC. I left Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core for Wii because of it's for PlayStation 2, also.In total, I named ten games for each platform to make it fair.
Don't see any reason to if you've waited this long.
