Okay...? :?i felt that star ocean didn't deserve it ...
Okay...? :?
is the game really that bad
Well, the reviewer thought you didn't take it seriously enough. He felt it deserved a 6.0.
seems like a pretty terrible RPGI'll stick to DS
Wow that's a low score. I'm playing the game and loving it! Reminds me of the good old PS1 RPGs. The only issue I have with the game is some of the voice acting during the battles is annoying, but that's very minor. I'm only 9 hours in and I would give this game a 8.0 no problem.
I played the SNES version of this game, and thought it was pretty bad. Way too short, button mashing combat, and the annoying music glitch.

6/10 is a ''fair'' score. Not bad. If you really want it, get it. Look at the Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn review, it got a 6 and I loved it :)
I love star ocean first departure... of course then Again I am 29 and have been gaming since the original ultima, bard's tale, SSI Goldbox d%26d games, and might and magic series on pc, , and final fantasy dragon warrior on nes, the 16 bit rpgs and ps1 which was the best of times for jrpgs followed by the infinity engine bioware/black isle western pc rpgs... SO I like the old games, especially when they are remade. I also love my copy of Final Fantasy Tactics: wol, and remade ff1 and ff2, plus all the ps1 rpgs i have on psp.PSP is great for rpgs, not just for current psp games either, there are many many classics to be played!
