I played RE:UC and the aiming is really not easy to control, I mean, you really have to get used to it's aiming style. And after playing it for over half an hour, my arm would start to feel pain So, is the aiming in RE4 still as frustrating as RE:UC? Is it really better to play RE4 with a w ...
Short answer: YES (yes to the question on the thread title)Long answer: Oddly, RE4Wii's aiming is better then UC. UC is also a on-rail shooter which means theres obviously alot more shooting happening then in RE4Wii. With that said, RE4 Wii's aiming is perfect, once you get past the first minutes of adaptation you'l never want to go back, and you'l understand why it has some of the best controls ever in the genre.Just out of curiosity, do you play UC with your arm stretched out? Its the only reason i see for feeling pain :?Is it really better to play RE4 with a w ...
Who plays Resident Evil 4 with the Dualshock 2 when you have access to the GC gamepad/Wavebird, Wiimote and mouse/keyboard?
And you don't need to hold your arm up to point the Wiimote at the screen.
It's really fun, but the game is made easier to adapt to the Wiimote. I flew threw the game on the Wii, granted it was my third run through of the game.
Wiimote aiming is more accurate, and it isn't tiring unless you're doing it weirdly. It definitely controls more smoothly, almost to the point of making the game too easy.
Haven't tried the PS2 controls, but did have the GC and currently playing the Wii version. Honestly I don't think you'd be doing anything but stepping backwards if you chose to use the PS2 over the Wii.

Its even better to play RE4 with the gamecube controller.

The Wii version is the definitive version of Resident Evil 4, too bad it's incredibly easy, I'm not sure if it's just the controls, they made it easier or both, but man, it's a cake walk.

Then play it on hard. Just because it is easier doesn't mean it isn't the best version. If you want difficult Resident Evil, play Zero or the GC Remake.
Miles better.
......well....game cubes pad felt so great in the hand like amazing.....but the buttons were placed in the most akward areas....dual shock felt good....but re4 was the first time i ever complained about the controller
I don't like the wii controls at all. GC version > All.
I don't like the wii controls at all. GC version > All.
haha i didnt think anyone else would be up at 4 in the morning
Going from PS2 RE4 to Wii RE4 is like playing a sniper on a console gamepad, and then switching to mouse %26 keyboard. The control accuracy is more than tripled.
