Dead Space is blatant rip off of system ...

Anyone who has played System Shock 2 will remember The Many, one of the coolest video game villains ever. Here is a 30 second youtube clip showcasing their awsomeness.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJQpJ-14GQsFk dead spaceDead Space is blatant rip off of system ...
it rips off alot of thingsDead Space is blatant rip off of system ...
Almost all entertainment has elements from things that have come before.
It was originally supposed to be a sequel to System Shock 2.
It rips of doom, system shock 2, some silent hill and resi evil etc BUT my god it rips them off so dam well :D.
Apparently, everything is a blatant rip-off of System Shock 2, including games made by its original developers...
It's an amazing game, and it's ripping off an amazing game, so in the end, who really gives a flying darn?
Rips off The Thing. Also, what the hell was that video? I was disappointed...where was the enemy? What enemy?

Do you have a link for that?

They mentioned it on the 1up yours podcast.

Makes sense since EA owns the SS ip.
It's EA what did you expect? At least it is a good game though.

Actully it mostly feels like ''Resident Evil in space''.

1UP isn't exactly the best for news. They've been going on about Crysis PS3 for months now. System Shock 2 was all about an evil A.I., not about some
Alien relic that can twist peoples' DNA and makes them necro zombie things
It's not going to share the story line if they decided to change it.

There is nothing in the game to indicate any relation at all to System Shock, and if that was even supposed to be one that would have been a horrible sequal to one of the greatest horror games of all time and an abomination to the series. Again, 1up can hardly be trusted.
Yeah I'm playing SS 2 right now, for the first time (thanks for the ending spoiler btw, I'm only up to Operations Deck where you find out about Polito), and I notice a lot of similarities. I think they were inspired by a lot of things though, and SS 2 just happens to be one of them.

Maybe also Event Horizon, The Thing, Aliens, even the Lost In Space movie.

I miss System Shock :(
