Anybody PC users letting their console g ...

So I bought a PC earlier this year. Nothing top end, but good enough to play anything. 8800GT 512 overclocked, quad core Intel, 3 gigs of ram, media center edition.Anyways, I found that I have not bought any 360 games since! I've owned a 360 for closing in on two years now, and played it all the time before I got my PC. Now I just game on the PC because it has a lot of the same top tier titles and they are all a much better version for my monitor (42'' LCD 1080p). Games just look better, and play better. I re-bought Mass Effect, and it's SO much smoother and better looking than it's 360 counterpart. I now own Gears, Assasins Creed, both Crysis' games, Far Cry 2, Dead Space, and Fallout 3 on PC.I was just wondering how many other people are in the same boat of not really seeing the need for a console when you have a decent pc? There are also many other types of games you can't experience on a console, plus I get to browse the web, e-mail, watch movies, etc with my computer. It's just sooooo much more utilitarian. Anyways, let me know if you've found this to be true and why for yourself as well! Anybody PC users letting their console g ...
yes me sadly....i am enjoying far cry 2 tooo much at the moment to touch the ps3. but once resistence 2 is in my hands then the pc will collect dust for a while :)Anybody PC users letting their console g ...
Yes.Ever since I upgraded my computer last year not even my new PS3 has torn me away from gaming on my PC.Though I have always prefered the PC platform, so its no surprise really.
its been over a year since ive bought any game for either my ps2 or ds
Well my Wii has gathered alot of dust over the months, the last game I bought was Super Mario Galaxy last year, my 360 hasnt had time to gather dust recently since it Red Ringed and is now off being repaired :D

Recently I had to many games to play on PC to play 360 or Wii, first time in a while that this has happend.
yep same here. my poor ps3. the only time its on now is when my mate pops around to play mgs4, and to check out a few demos.

[/QUOTE] Haha, thanks man. It's not the top of the top by any means. I do play Crysis at High Settings in 720 or Medium settings with a few select on High at 1080p. Just saying I hate, hate, hate the premiums a lot of ''higher'' end parts cost for negligible performance gains. I run Far Cry 2 in Ultra high settings at 1080p. I will upgrade in a few years when this rig can't run everything at really high settings.
Sadly yes, ever since I bought The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, Spore, and Fallout 3, my consoles have been crying for attention, but ever since I bought a gaming PC I am finally able to experience ultra fast and smooth gameplay on high detailed graphics. It's really a much better experience. Doesn't mean I don't like my consoles though, when Gears 2 and Banjo Kazooie come out I'll be ditching my PC for a good month or so. :P
Yes, absolutely, you aren't alone. However, at least in my case, it's not really surprising.I last used the Wii when we were watching my nephew for a weekend, he liked it alot of course :) The PS3 still gets used as blu-ray player. For my own gaming though, I haven't played either console in months.Although following slickdeals.net for example, there seems to be some good deals on console games recently. For example:Fight Night 3 - $20
Resistance - $20 (partially played this one at a friend's, but don't own it)
Burnout Paradise - $20 (hmm, cheap....but a PC version is on the way)
Conan - $10I'm definitely tempted to pick some up :) I just don't know how/when I'd actually get around to playing them. Resistance 2 has my interest as well, but definitely don't plan on paying full price for the game. I paid full price for MGS4 and still haven't gotten around to finishing it.
I am... at times I considering selling the two.
Let me check, ................ yes my 360 is dusty as hell, in fact the last game I bought for it was april last year and it was condemned: blood shot. PC FTW.
Actually come to think of it I did buy The Darkness cheap a few weeks ago. Great game so far, one of the few console only multi system shooters that should get a port to PC. Has a few quirks, but so far its beein surprisingly great. Before that lets see..... MotorStorm, also cheap. Good fun, even if the singleplayer is a bit shallow and whatnot, and it also has its quirks. Bought Advance Wars Days of Ruin recently though, and Geometry Wars DS before that. Great games, awesome ways to kill time on the move.I have been considering Condemned 2, and my cousin was offering me a a free copy of Ninja Gaiden on the PS3.... as well as some other PS3 game. Id like to pickup saints row 2, but I might wait for the PC version. There is just way too many PC games I have too get through at the moment:Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Spore, The Witcher, C%26C3, C%26C3 Kanes Wrath, Sup Com Forged Alliance, Medal of Honor Airborne, STALKER Clear Sky, Fahrenheit, Thief Deadly Shadows - and even more ontop of that. And of course a bunch of other things to worry about.
