Which next gen. system is better the 360 ...

Im thinkin about gettin a 360 or a wii for christmas but i cant make up my mind but im kind of leaning towards gettin the 360. I know both systems have their ups and downs. For instance the 360 has great graphics but the wii doesnt. Also with the wii you actually can get up and move around but with the 360 you just sit there. So all i wanted was some feedback on what i should choose. If you can give me a comparison so if other people are having the same problem as me they might get some help on what they should choose.Which next gen. system is better the 360 ...

I was pretty much a Nintendo guy, with a slight dislike for Microsoft. I had only the Gamecube last gen, along with a GBA/DS. I got the Wii at midnight on launch, it was one of the most exiting things ever. Since then, I picked up a PS2 to catch up on games I missed last gen, and still been loving my DS. Then I got a 360 after I figured the PS3 was just not worth it. And while I still love my Wii, the 360 is my favorite console I have ever used. I also now have an NES, SNES, a Dreamcast, and play some games on my PC. But the 360 is the only thing really gets used almost every single day. I am actually about to buy a second 360, so i have one in the living room and one in the family room. The Wii can be alot of fun, and I love it, but I really would have to say... go with the 360.

Better in terms of what? That's what you need to decide. Me personally, if you don't have a console, the choice is easy: 360. Superb onilne, (it costs so you request a XBL Gold membership as a stocking stuffer), great lineup of games, and other features that you may or may never use. If you already have one, then I don't see an issue with getting a Wii. Great old-school franchises, unique control scheme, Virtual Console (best feature IMO) make it a great secondary console. But at the end of the day, your choice.
