Last Generation with the PS2, they had the full support of almost every single games publisher out there, the quantity and quality were unbelieveable.
They completely wiped the floor with their competition and then some more. The PS2 was an amazong console that surpasses any other games console on the market past and future wise in my eyes and many others.
Now, my question stands as to why the PS3 not only has nowhere near the same thrid party support but hardly has any at all?
I know it is still early to conclude anything but this is just unbelievable, the fall of Sony has been harder than Nintendo's and Sega's combined. Also since when did Sony care about having the most powerful console?
How can you go from being first in everything to being last in almost everything? How did Sony lose so much third party su ...
They are in last place in total consoles sold that is how. See it is a crazy thing that developers like to make money off their product. How did Sony lose so much third party su ...
Because Devs can't survive making exclusives. To expensive. They need a larger base so they can make some wins.
They didn't lose 3rd party support, they just lost 3rd party exclusives. I mean, apart fom Valve, which developer out there absolutely refuses to work on it?
i dunno they havent really stopped them, bcz they are building a 1st party greater than Nintendo's...
they are last palce and MS has the money.

It is 100% possible to make money off the PS3 exclusively, it won't be as much as if it was multi-plat but it would still make a profit.
they are last palce and MS has the money.
sony has money but htey spend it all on 1st party, look at MS it has like no more 1st party devs

And they lost it cause they suck, made a bad console devs wont follow.
Because the PS3 isn't the hands down greatest system like the PS1 and PS2 were.
lol? thats all there 1st party...not to mention they lost bungie, and killed off that other one that made halo wars and A.G.E. RTSand compaired to sony they have like no 1st partysony is just building more and more
Cell + B.R. + $599.99 @ launch = Ooops !
neither 360 or ps3 is dominating the other, so both have multiplats so the companies make more money
It's not just Sony. There are few third party exclusives for any consoles anymore
Simple, MS launched first/quickly and built their install base (Which might be the reason for RROD) , Sony were late to the party (because of blu ray components). And as you know, publishers will jump on the platform with the higher install base, but with the wii its strange, if Nintendo had tried a bit harder they could have had the PS2 effect(Where it was the lead platform and ports for the more powerful consoles).
because the current-gen consoles are expensive to make games for and dev's like money
They are in last place in total consoles sold that is how. See it is a crazy thing that developers like to make money off their product.
It has nothing to do with last place....it has to do with making money off both user bases. But you also can't deny a lot of 3rd party titles being lost is due to exclusive deals they reached for a sum of money from MS. SE is probably the most obvious 3rd party developer but others have made deals with MS as well (timed or out right exclusives)
you know you could at least back up your argument with overwhelming evidence :
i'll take your PS2 and raise you a PS1

Even GTA was just a loan and did not cost MS anything. Do you have a link the MS paid SE for FF13? I hear cows say this all the time but I never see anything backed up. There has been a very large number of games that went to the 360. So where is all the links about MS paying for it?
