Best console for two people?

I wish to buy a console on which i can play with my fiance, mostly 2 player games on which we can play together. I found Wii has a good potential for that, but is it better than PS3 and Xbox360? Best console for two people?

I would get xbox 360, i dont think ps3 has enough 2 player games, while wii is just pathetic. xbox 360 has some sweet games like gears of war 1 and 2(both can be played on split screen) + several more games, also theres plenty of xbox 360 arcade games and almost all of them support 2 players

I think it really depends on what kind of games you'd want to be playing. I think you should opt for a Wii if it's for you and your fiance. Xbox 360 and PS3 really don't have a huge mass of good family games. So, unless LittleBig Planet catches your eye, I'd efinitely go for the Wii.
Wii for sure.......... Boom Blox, Wii sports, Mario Kart, SSBB, Smooth Moves, etc.

Sounds like you need a Wii, but I'm warning you that you will be wasting your money. Get PS3 with LBP and Rock Band 2.

Whatever You do don't get a 360. I can understand someone looking past its flaws for the sake of some games but to recommend it to someone else? I'm not going to recommend a broken product to someone else, that's just tasteless.
I was considering nintendo wii coz of its controls but then the graphics of the games looks childish to me, for example, i really like to buy a tennis game in wii but it would be nice if presentation of the game is bit mature.

Wii,is the worst console of the three. PS3 lacks multiplayer games( Co-Op not talking about online ) though Xbox 360 has tons,but the majority of the games are violent. Wii is still a fun console but it depends on what you and your fiance like.

LOL at all the people recommending 360/PS3's (Gears of war? What normal women wants to play a gory game?) ...... he's going to play with this fiance now with his buddies..... Wii all the way man, trust me. Then if you want a console for yourself/buddies I'd get a 360 only $200 now.
